Eesha Verma
Eesha is an undergraduate junior studying biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She is originally from central Massachusetts, and she joined the lab in spring of 2021. In her free time, Eesha loves hiking, baking, and painting.

Brittni Moore
Brittni graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine in 2016. She then worked as a Cancer Research Training Fellow with the National Institutes of Health until her matriculation into the CMP program in the fall of 2019. Mackenzie Kui
Mackenzie’s first exposure to lab research began as an undergraduate at UCSB where he studied reproductive diapause in fruit flies. After earning his degree in 2018, Mackenzie transitioned into small molecule development while working at City of Hope and Oncovalent Therapeutics. Outside of the lab, you can find him rock climbing or playing beach volleyball.

Nathan Zaidman
Nathan earned his PhD from the University of Minnesota in 2016, where he studied ion transport in airway epithelial cells. He joined the lab in the fall of 2016 to explore the wonders of the kidney. When he’s not in the lab, he enjoys hiking, bowling and playing soccer.

Jiaojiao Xu
Jiaojiao Xu graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with her PhD in Oct of 2017, where she studied the modulation of salty taste in human taste cells by dipeptides. She joined the lab in October of 2018.

Jennifer Pluznick, Ph.D.
Jen Pluznick received her Ph.D. in Renal Physiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (Omaha, NE) in 2005.
